Soldering Iron Stand Base

When I acquired a new soldering iron from the local market "bazaar," I requested a stand to securely hold it, and they provided me with a rusted piece of metal that had a coil bolted to it. I carefully sanded out the old, corroded surface on that piece of metal and repainted it to give it a fresh new look. To complete my project, I designed this base from wood PLA, which would hold a sponge and brass wool in place. After applying a stain to the wood PLA and then epoxying the metal plate firmly into position, I was left with this beautifully crafted soldering iron holder that not only serves its purpose but also adds a touch of style to my workspace.
