I built this straightforward soldering aid using 2 x USB LED Flexible Lights and 4 x Crocodile clips. Eliminate both ends of the light (LED and USB plug). Cut the rods in half and attach a crocodile clip to one end of the rods. I employed a pair of car electrical crimpers, but a pair of pliers could also get the job done. Secure them into the holes in the base plate with epoxy.
