Soldering fume extractor
thingiverse
I have added a lid with smaller clips, making the previous model's larger clips a thing of the past - too big and easy to break. I've also included files for 0.5mm (untested) and 0.2mm thickness, both of which worked perfectly for me. Soldering fume extractors are a must-have for any serious hobbyist or professional. They make breathing in those pesky soldering fumes a thing of the past. I've designed this extractor specifically for use with a 120mm fan from an Xbox One, but you can easily modify it to fit your favorite fan. I printed mine on my trusty Prusa i3 MK3 without any support and with just 5% infill - a testament to the printer's capabilities. The extractor uses a carbon filter to absorb those unpleasant fumes, which I sourced from a cooker hood filter that I trimmed down to size.
