Soldering Cable Holder
thingiverse
My First Print! I wanted to print something that's truly useful and tailored just for me. I created a personalized soldering wire holder, giving my tools a safe haven where alligator clips on a helping hand can't cause any damage. Printing time lapse – https://youtu.be/nHj6ezel46E Print Settings: Printer: My trusty M3D Mini Rafts: Yes, for extra stability Supports: No, to keep things simple Resolution: Low, but effective Infill: None, a deliberate choice Notes: Printing with infill would have helped support the center concavity, and it did fall through a bit during printing. However, this doesn't affect its usability at all. How I Designed This I used OpenSCAD to give my design a stylish flair, carefully rounding out the arms to make it more visually appealing. I also deepened and lengthened the middle concavity, making it perfect for storing soldering wires safely.
