The Soldering Assistant is an ingenious project designed for easy accessibility of soldering supplies. Featuring a solder spool holder close to the work area, it ensures a constant supply of solder from the spool itself. The adjustable vise secures your project during assembly, while a parts bin holds resistors, capacitors, ICs and other essentials. Custom add-ons can be snapped into place using side "fins." The center threaded rod is the only component not printable but can be purchased from a local hardware store. Coming soon are updates that include a fume extractor and adjustable angle for the vice platform.
