This solder tin holder is a quick and easy to print solution for anyone like me who has rolls of solder laying about. I find it inconvenient to solder without one of these now! Print details:All parts aside from the roll (solder holder roll.stl) can be printed with no supports. The base of the holder has spots for 5 magnets (.25 by .125 inch). The handle can be stored in the side hexagons when not in use. The handle knob is held on by a piece of unprinted 1.75mm filament, cut slightly larger than the diameter of the shaft in order to assure it does not fall out.  The latches for the roll are a tight fit. They are set to be .5 mm off from the interior of the holder, creating a small dip. The handle can be pushed against this hole to pop out the latches, as it has much looser tolerances. File details:There are two versions of the holder itself – solder holder.stl and solder holder slim.stl. While the aesthetics of the slim are more appealing, I would not recommend it for PLA, as it is prone to weak points (If you are using PETG, ABS, Nylon, etc., then it works just fine). There are two versions of the roll, one with and one without prongs. The prongs are used to grab the solder tin. I recommend dremeling/drilling out small 2mm holes for these prongs in the roll. They are essential to ensuring the handle turns the tin. I highly recommend checking out the .3mf files of the model configuration you wish to print. These already have the support blockers and other modifiers added, and are ready to slice and print.  There is also a gcode for a MK4 with Input Shaping, using Prusament PLA, if you prefer. Finally, there is a .STEP file and a .SLDASM file for anyone who wishes to make their own modification to the design.  Image details:The orange frame is the slim version, the blue frame is the normal version. (If there is any desire for a smaller one for smaller solder rolls, let me know and I will gladly make it!
