solder sucker replacement tip using 3D printer Teflon tube
thingiverse
My trusty solder sucker took an unfortunate tumble, shattering the front end and stripping me of my Teflon tip in the process. Determined to salvage the situation, I set out to craft a replacement that would seamlessly integrate with the same Teflon tubing used in my printer's hot end. To ensure a snug fit, I carefully designed the new tip to require a precise 4mm drill bit (hand-cranked, of course) to avoid overheating the PLA filament. Be prepared to apply some elbow grease when screwing on the cap end – it may take a bit of force, but the result will be well worth it. If you're as enthusiastic about DIY projects as I am, feel free to share your own creations and give this post a thumbs-up!
