I got fed up with my flimsy Harbor Freight soldering iron careening around and setting things ablaze, so I decided not to splurge on an expensive soldering station that I didn't really require. This setup is affixed to a piece of discarded lumber, and incorporates 3/4" EMT conduit cut at a 45-degree angle.
