Solder Station
thingiverse
I spotted several soldering stations, but none of them seemed to be speaking my language. I was looking for dedicated spots to store sponge and steel wool, as well as a spool holder for my solder - ideally with a convenient arm helper that everyone seems to have. I've tackled the common problem of the helper's light weight by adding two studs, allowing you to lift the entire assembly easily. For this project, I used 4.9 mm or .193 in threaded rod from Home Depot, as it was readily available. My spool is quite large, so you should be able to accommodate various sizes and add spacers if needed. I also provided the Fusion files for the station, allowing you to customize them with your own text if desired. Furthermore, I included the studs file, enabling you to make adjustments for a precise fit - Scotch tape works well as an alternative wrapping material. That's all the information I can provide; feel free to comment if you require anything else. Keep on printing!
