I built a custom solder station for my own soldering needs, specifically designed to address the frustration of dealing with irons that lack a simple on/off switch. These types of irons are particularly infuriating because they require manual intervention every time you need to turn them off, which can be a major hassle in a busy workshop setting. To resolve this issue, I created a compact enclosure to house the circuit board, providing a convenient and user-friendly interface for powering my solder iron on and off.
