A straightforward solution is needed - a small ring that slips onto cheap solder stands found on eBay and accommodates a T12 handle. I'm building a solder station enclosure that will utilize the metal part of the stand, this ring, and enclose a clone T12 soldering iron kit. The project is still in progress, but stay informed for updates.
