Designed to fit Jaycar Duratech solder spools with precision, the inner spool dimension measures 19-20mm and features an 18mm diameter holder rod. A 15% infill proves sufficient to securely hold up to 1kg spools without any issues. To use the holder effectively, pass the solder wire through the wire guide, then when finished, roll it back until there's enough length to bend down and secure the end in the guide for future soldering sessions. The holder provides ample space for multiple spools if you have thinner ones, such as various thicknesses of solder or different types of solder/wire.
