Solder Spool Holder

See Updates below This holds a standard one-pound spool of solder. A compartment in the back stores tweezers and side cutters. The rear compartment has large chamfers so that only one support is needed. I used S3D with a support resolution set to 3mm to get one support column inside the rear compartment. This thing was printed on its side. Updates 01/21/2017 Spool holder-v2 has been uploaded with changes mentioned below added in. Printed it and I'm happy, I foresee no future changes. I wanted to get the STL out first; I'll add current pictures later. 01/17/2017 The fitment is perfect for the Kester spool I have on hand. If someone needs a larger size, please let me know in comments. I like everything about it so far: The catch at the end does its purpose well, but doesn't make it hard to take the spool on or off. As shown in the newly uploaded pics, there isn't much clearance between the spool and the bottom, but it does freely move. In fact, with a new one-pound spool, the rod doesn't flex much at all (I printed first with PETG; I will be using PLA for the next version), but if it did, it would "ride on the floor" below it. The rear compartment fits flush cutter and tweezers well. I want to increase its size to accommodate a flux paste tube. That said, I will be making a couple of modifications over the next day. Increasing the wall thickness of the rear compartment as well as the compartment's volume. Raising the front edge to allow the feed hole to be a height that is halfway between a full spool and a nearly empty one. I'm open to ideas but am currently limited to 120x120x120mm print size. I'd also like to keep it simple in purpose and not too specific. The other holders I looked at before designing this one tried to either be the solution for everything or too specific, requiring you to buy the same tweezer set as they had. 01/16/2017 I'm currently printing the thing; I need to double-check fitment once it's done.
