Solder Roller: This fast printing little device will allow you to make a coil of solder that fits perfectly in the handy solder tubes that come with most basic soldering irons. Extremely useful for rolling from a solder spool. Designed to be mounted up in an electric screwdriver, but can easily be mounted in a drill or turned by hand. Print Settings Printer: Aluminium Prusa Air Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Custom Section Instructions Chuck up your rotary tool of choice Put a pencil or something else through your spool of solder Thread the start of the solder through the 2.5mm hole at the far end Holding the spool, pulling to create tension, start rolling and guide it on - slower is better Give yourself a few cm extra length to pull through the coil holder and cut off Holding the whole roll of solder gently, twist slowly in the opposite direction that you wound it to slide it off the mandrel Stuff into the tube and enjoy! Notes: Be gentle with the solder because it isn't tough material and you don't need tons of tension to create a nice roll. You risk breaking the mandrel otherwise.
