Solder pen/iron holder (for TS100 etc.)
prusaprinters

After using a popular TS100 soldering pen holder (ref. mightynozzle, ID 2385609), I found that I didn't need the sponge or the variable angle. Clumsy as I am there were also a couple of accidental burns due to the iron being rather exposed in the stand. So with this in mind I designed my own version which is sturdy and which shrouds the pen somewhat. The four ball bearings also acts as a more effective heatsink for the times the pen is cranked up to 11.

I have made this in two parts so that I could print it in two colors, the base part and the holder. If you intend to fix the part to the table or something else, only the holder is necessary to print. I also included both parts fused into one.

The holder uses 4 pcs of 608 ball bearing (Ø22mm ø8mm t7mm), i.e. standard skate board bearings. You might need a drop of glue to hold the bearings securely.
