I carefully crafted a unique solder pen featuring an ergonomic design with a curved pattern at the top to prevent the solder tip from slipping back into the tube. This thoughtful detail ensures that the solder remains securely in place. Perfect for precision work, I utilize a small-sized pen ideal for handling 0.5mm solder wires. For slightly thicker solder, a medium-sized pen is available, accommodating 0.8mm solder with ease. To create this customized tool, I repurposed an old Bic pen as a mold in my drill to carefully wind the solder into a precise coil.
