<p>The top stand part grips the ceramic part (that comes with the lose stand in an 8586 solder station kit) just right so it does not slip out during use.</p> <p>The base snaps on to the outer body of the solder station just right and the iron is now firmly on the table in a convenient spot -- great for those crowded workspaces.</p> <h3> Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>RepRap iTopie 400+</p> <p><p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p><p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>200</p></div><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>30</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> PolyMaker PLA Grey and Pink <br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong> </p><div><p>I'd used Cura to generate GCode. Note that at 20% infill, the clip on action was not very good, definitely recommend 30%. In Cura, that made the infill pattern switch to linear which worked very nicely.</p> The part was printed longest edge up with the widest portion in the Y-direction. It was plenty stable for printing at 60mm/s that way.</div></p> <p>Also, used the support blocking feature on base portion that mates with the top part to block support generation in the already created holes of the base.</p> <p>Print time was about 10h for base and 5h for top part.</p> </p></p> Category: Electronics
