This spool holder is specifically made to keep your solder within easy reach while you work. The reason behind its design is that I only occasionally solder, not constantly, which means this holder needs to accommodate small spools with diameters of 47mm. I was fed up with my spool rolling away or falling off my desk every time I soldered, so I came up with a simple solution: a holder for the spool and a tray to hold a cleaning sponge.
