Solder Holder
thingiverse
Working as an electronic engineer, using this spool holder simplifies soldering significantly. Fingers crossed! It consists of two components: a holder and a stick. In the base of the holder, a groove is incorporated so that the stick can fit snugly inside, preventing it from falling off. As a printing novice, I'm still learning the ropes, and this project didn't turn out as expected. I suspect my high speed settings and 0.4mm layer height contributed to the subpar result. I'll try again with slower speeds and smaller layers to see if that improves the outcome. I've included STL, Catia, and IGS files for you to modify as needed to fit your spool dimensions. Print Settings: * Printer: CTC Dual * Rafts: None * Supports: None * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 20-30% * Notes: As a printing beginner, my skills are still developing, and this project didn't meet my expectations. I think a high speed setting and 0.4mm layer height might have been the culprit. I'll try again with slower speeds and smaller layers to achieve better results. The PLA used was Chinese, and the walls aren't as solid as they could be, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it won't break easily. Next time, I plan to increase infill and reduce layer height to see if that yields better outcomes.
