Solder Help Edited Flex Joint & Seat

thingiverse

I experienced difficulties with the cylinder seat and cylinder joint as the end of the joint wouldn't fit snugly into the back of the seat, causing it to constantly come apart. Honestly, I see no reason for the parts to be separate except for aesthetics and possibly one joint at the start and one seat at the finish of the arm. Nevertheless, I used 123D Design to create a modified version of this design and it appears to have done the job successfully. Using the same settings as Faraa's original model, I printed and tested the item, and it works perfectly. By aligning the two items into position and adding a cylinder to make them one solid object, I completed the task. Furthermore, if your 3D printer is properly set up, has a decent hot end and fan nozzle, and the fan is set to 100%, there's no need for supports.
