Solder Fume Extractor

Solder Fume Extractor

thingiverse

This is a lifesaving fume extractor I built to safeguard my breathing space. To replicate this DIY project, you'll need to get your hands on the following essentials: a 140mm fan, a 9V adapter, and two STL files that can be printed with ease. You can source these necessary components from reputable online retailers: * A reliable 140mm fan * A high-quality 9V adapter * A versatile 9V connector * An efficient carbon filter * A powerful 3D printer During the printing process, I employed support for the first part of this fume extractor. However, the second component doesn't require any additional support to print successfully. In terms of infill rate, a minimum of 10% should yield satisfactory results. If you want to enhance airflow even further, feel free to add an extra fan to the mix – but personally, I think it's perfect just the way it is.
