This DIY project uses a bargain-priced Ikea 10$ work lamp, a 3$ AC-DC converter, high-quality 90mm carbon filters, some salvaged DELs and a PC 120mm fan to create an incredibly useful tool for your workspace. The project can be found online at http://a360.co/2k1nIgH. It serves two purposes: filtering solder fumes or eliminating 3D printer plastic fumes/particles. The PC fan and DELs were expertly scavenged, with the DELs connected in two sets of four in parallel, then series, directly on the 12V line. A tight fit makes screws unnecessary.
