I spotted another soldering aid that holds wires and I liked the idea, but it seemed a bit cumbersome and weighty with filament, so I designed my own in Onshape. It's tapered to give you more space on one side if needed. After showing this to a friend, he asked me to make something to help him solder Deans connectors. So I created one. Time-lapse: https://youtu.be/6UBhbnI3Oc0 Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select I300 Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.26mm Infill: 10% Notes: Testing out 3dxtech's new ASA filament, which is a lot like ABS but with less odor and no warping so far, plus it's UV resistant. Two shells printed at 250ºC make it quite strong, possibly three shells for PLA would be better. With 10% infill, my printer took over an hour to make it.
