If you find this helpful, please reward me with a cup of coffee! I saw another soldering aid that holds wires and thought it was worth exploring. The concept seemed appealing, but the design appeared to be somewhat bulky and heavy on filament, so I decided to create my own in Onshape. It's designed with a tapered shape to provide more room on one side if needed. After showing this to a friend, he asked if I could make something to assist him in soldering Deans connectors - an over-designed task, to say the least. So I made one, and it's called the Deans Connector Soldering Stand. Time-lapse: https://youtu.be/6UBhbnI3Oc0Pr... Printer: I300 Pro, Rafts: No, Supports: No, Resolution: 0.26mm, Infill: 10%, Notes: I'm testing out 3dxtech's new ASA filament, which has characteristics similar to ABS but with a less pungent smell and no warping - so far it's also UV resistant. 2 shells printed at 250ºC seem quite strong; might want to consider using 3 shells for PLA. With 10% infill, my printer took about an hour and a half to complete the job. ASA filament link: http://www.3dxtech.com/asa-filament
