I have to give credit to mistertech who published a groundbreaking wire station that ignited the idea behind the Solder Buddy. The solder buddy is, in essence, a cutting-edge station where you can secure multiple wires for efficient soldering. It features a designated space for an average-sized sponge to sanitize your soldering iron. If you're using an FDM printer and plan on utilizing this product, be cautious not to make direct contact with the actual plastic on the station as it will likely deform the part due to the heat from the iron itself. I am not, by any means, the pioneer who created a part like this. Nor did I stumble upon the concept, this is simply an innovative alternative to the standard stainless steel wire holders that is budget-friendly and a fantastic demonstration of the capabilities of 3D printing.
