These covers are designed to fit perfectly over a pair of ORION Vista 7 x 50 binoculars with an outside objective diameter of 61.6mm, allowing some extra room for a 1/16 inch neoprene gasket material. A thin layer of fuzzy velcro side would also work well, either glued on or adhesive-backed. I've used some BAADER Solar film that's been sitting around for a while, and it's in perfect condition after being stored between tissue paper in a cardboard tube - no pinholes to be found!
