Solar Tiki Lights from old tiki lights
thingiverse
Someone gave me some Tiki lights and since I never use them, I decided to repurpose them by creating a custom lightshade for my solar garden lights. These solar lights were taking up space but didn't quite meet my expectations, so I transformed them into a stylish table lamp that can also accommodate my Tiki lights year-round automatically. To be honest, I'm not convinced that Tiki lights are effective against mosquitoes, so this setup makes the most of their functionality. If I ever want to use them as traditional Tiki lights, the solar component is easily removable and replaceable with lantern parts. I designed this lightshade using openScad software, which allows for customization - mainly adjusting the diameter of the shade itself. The tabs that connect to the solar light are also modular, making it easy to add or relocate them if needed. For printing, I opted for vase mode without supports and oriented the tabs downwards.
