Solar stand for on the go
cults3d
Practical mounting kit to turn a standard solar panel into a portable, on-the-go module, e.g. for charging a solar generator. Suitable for 35 mm deep module frames. The depth can be adjusted to your own module via the print parameters of the corner protection. Ideally, a module with hardened glass and a plastic back should be used. I made it for a 100 Watt module but other sizes are possible as well. Including foldable stands for a setting angle of 35° degrees. The cable can be safely stowed in the cable pocket - this is deep enough to accommodate MC4 connectors. The cable pocket can be attached with double-sided waterproof tape or Gekko tape. The corner protection should be printed with TPU to ensure real protection. The corner protection can be clipped on or can be fixed with double-sided waterproof adhesive tape if necessary. The carrying handle and the stands should be printed with PTEG or ABS for best weather resistance. Drilling templates for the handle and the stands are included. M5 stainless steel screws are required for assembly. 2 x M5x12 flat head for attaching the carrying handle to the housing 4 x M5x12 flat head for attaching the stands to the housing 2 x M5x16 hex-head for attaching the carrying handle in the bracket 4 x M5x16 hex-head for attaching the stands to the brackets
