Solar Radiation Shield
thingiverse
This custom solar radiation shield is precision-designed to safely encase an Arduino and its accompanying sensors, shielding them from harsh weather conditions while still allowing for exposure to temperature fluctuations. The protective layers are cleverly designed with snap-together pins, making it effortless to access the internal components as needed. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, white ABS plastic should be utilized to prevent radiant heat buildup and UV light degradation of the material. A Scad file is readily available on GitHub for users who wish to modify or replicate this design: https://github.com/tscofield/Solar_Radiation_shield Additionally, zipties can be used to securely hold an Arduino in place within the shield, as demonstrated by this clever solution: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2906954
