All components must be flipped for proper placement on the build platform. I printed each piece using my Ultimaker Original, setting layer height at 0.15mm, top/bottom/wall thickness to 0.8mm, speed at 70 mm/s, flow rate at 110%, and fill at 20%. The movable engine was modified from a Thingiverse design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:50988) to a four-cylinder version. Gears were sourced from another Thingiverse design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6544), scaled according to the project's needs. A solar-powered motor was obtained from Conrad.nl post-printing, sand each part thoroughly before assembling with superglue. Ensure the crankshaft has sufficient play for smooth operation. The engine is a solar-powered motor with a 24mm diameter and 0.5V voltage.
