Solar Panel Stake

Solar Panel Stake

thingiverse

This is a versatile holder designed specifically for Adafruit solar panels, which can be purchased here (https://www.adafruit.com/product/200) for approximately thirty dollars. The concept is simple: attach the solar panel to this holder and drive the stake into the ground. It works flawlessly as a means of powering small garden electronics projects. To assemble the piece, you will need a 2-inch hex head screw with a 1/4-20 thread and a corresponding nut for the handle, as well as a #10-24 (or 32) x approximately 1-inch screw and nut to assemble the stake. Everything is set up to print directly from the STL file without any modifications. Supports are not strictly necessary, but you may want to use them for the stake to ensure stability. If you plan on using this holder outdoors, consider printing with ASA or PETG materials, as they offer good resistance to UV and weathering conditions. If you wish to experiment with the model, a Fusion360 assembly of all components has been included.
