Solar panel module Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
A 3D Model of a solar panel module, comprised of 2 separate objects: a panel and a glass component; each object boasting its own unique UV Layout map, Material setup, and PBR Textures set. Production-ready for direct import into most 3D software, this asset features pre-applied PBR materials, textures, and non-overlapping UV maps, all contained within the included package. Made up exclusively of quad-only geometries (no triangles or n-gons), no poles are present to affect workflow or functionality. Easily editable and customizable via provided UV unwrapped geometries, users can effortlessly create new Textures by using the given UV Layout maps in their preferred 3D modeling software. All Object, Material, and Texture elements have descriptive names for clear recognition within packages and files. PBR Textures are conveniently located in a designated folder inside the main archive file, accompanied by additional scene files necessary for full system integration. Rendered and created using Blender 3D 2.79 (with Cycles material rendering), this model was exported as OBJ and FBX files to ensure compatibility across various software applications; materials and textures were developed in Substance Painter and tailored specifically for PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) use cases, with V-Ray and game engine compatibility also considered during creation. Promotional images included showcase the finished product from different perspectives: some are fully rendered, others highlight wireframes or UV layouts, providing a complete visual overview of asset design and layout options. Resolution of all associated maps and image textures amounts to 2048 x 2048 pixels. 2 Object Meshes (one for the solar panel component and one for the glass) plus two pre-built PBR Materials, with non-overlapping UV Layouts and UV-mapped Textures all present within a convenient single package. All relevant details necessary for asset manipulation are clearly specified: - Formats supported: OBJ, FBX - Associated scenes saved as BLEND (version 2.79 with Cycles rendering settings applied) - Supporting documents: image files (png with alpha) included in main zip archive Polygon count breaks down into quads only (no triangle faces present); model features a real-world size based on centimeters for scale and uniform scaling within Blender. Additional value is added by the provision of a PBR Multi-Engine Textures pack that includes all needed assets tailored specifically for several major game engines or rendering applications, namely Cycles (Blender 3D), Vray (Studio Max), Unity 5 Standard Metallic, Unreal Engine 4, as well as generic Spec Gloss and Metal Rough workflows. This feature-rich set empowers end-users to edit the provided textures according to specific requirements, or directly drop them into a scene of choice for swift production implementation.
