The original OpenScad source file is included for those who want to modify it to fit their custom aluminum frame size for solar panels. Solar panel hinges make connecting portable solar panels easy, convenient, and hassle-free for use, storage, and transport. Printing Instructions: - Layer height: 0.30mm - Wall shells: 2 - Infill: 30% - Material: ABS filament - No support required To Do: - Print four of each part to make two panel hinges. - There are only two printable parts that work universally. Simply flip opposing parts over. - I prefer simple designs in my creations. Installation Instructions: - Attach the hinge block to the aluminum panel frame. Install an 8-32 x 0.75" screw to hold the block in place. Do not use longer screws, as they may damage the solar panel glass. - Attach the hinge links on top and bottom of the hinge blocks. - Install long 8-32 x 2" screws and locking nuts. Tighten the locking nuts just enough to be snug so that the hinges are secure but not too loose. Store your power in a Solar Charge Box, like the one I designed at https://www.youmagine.com/designs/solar-charge-box-v1.
