Solar Panel for Arduino Weather Station

Work in progress, subject to significant changes over the next few weeks. All STLs are currently oriented randomly, not as suggested for optimal printing. Upon finalizing design revisions, I will properly orient them. 1.8W Solar Panel Holder for Arduino Weather Station https://www.thingiverse.com/SeanTheITGuy/collections/arduino-weather-station This design revolves around a 305mm x 100mm x 2.3mm solar panel sourced from a automotive 12v solar trickle charger like the Sunforce Products unit: https://sunforceproducts.com/products/1-8-watt-12-volt-solar-battery-maintainer/ Such chargers are available under various store brands for $10-20 when on sale. I repurposed one with broken wires and cracked plastic by removing the glass panel to create a power source for my Arduino weather station, yielding approximately 16 volts in moderate light. This voltage is then stepped down inside the control box to suit charging lithium cells. All components of my Weather Station are designed to be modular, featuring a consistent 7 cm mounting flange on all external parts. Two front covers are required, fitting together for complete assembly. There's enough space under where the panel sits to secure it with double-sided tape and hold wires in place using tape or hot glue to prevent stressing solder points.
