Solar Panel Breakout Box

Have an old solar panel collecting dust? I came up with a creative solution to let kids charge their gadgets, phones, DS's, and tablets from a solar panel without the hassle of cables and plugs. Just plug in and charge - perfect for camping, car rides, or at home with the panel in the garage window. No battery needed, but connecting one won't hurt; then you can charge devices at night too! The front panel is removable and can be replaced with a new layout. I've got 12 volts DC and 5 volts USB, 1 amp each, plus a switch to turn it on or off and an indicator LED to show the solar panel's working. If you need circuit connection details, just send me a message! Alternatively, connect this unit directly to any 12-volt DC source or battery to charge devices. You can even hook it up to your caravan or boat's existing solar panel with battery. Enjoy using this innovative device! Note that if you're using a large solar panel and connecting it to a battery, you might need a regulator. All internal parts were sourced from my local electronics hobby shop or eBay. Print settings: * Rafts: No * Supports: No I printed this on the lowest resolution possible and still got great results - no supports needed! Parts list: * 2 x rear panel banana plugs (red/black) * 1 x 12-volt car socket * 1 x 12-volt LED (yellow to indicate sun, or use a resistor with a standard LED) * 1 x USB power socket with 2 outlets * 8 x 3mm tapered screws * Length of cable for connections
