Solar Panel Bracket

Solar Panel Bracket

This customizable support bracket is specifically designed for aluminium framed solar panels and securely slots onto the frame underneath the panel, giving you complete flexibility to print it however you desire. I created this bracket because I needed a custom support system for a small 10W solar panel that I was using on an automated watering system in my vegetable garden. The system's self-contained design required a unique solution, which is exactly what I came up with. Version 1.1 introduced a crucial parameter - the width of the panel frame - allowing users to easily adapt the bracket for different frames and panels. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: They're not essential here. Supports: You don't need them, as this design is well-suited for printing without support material. Resolution: Opt for 0.2mm layer height for the best results. Infill: Set it to 30% - a good balance between weight and print speed. Notes: This model was printed in PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layers, but you can experiment with different settings if you prefer. Post-Printing: Once your print is complete, remove any excess material or debris to reveal the finished bracket.
