These optical components securely fasten binoculars to a wooden frame attached to an equatorial telescope mount, allowing safe observation of the sun. Focused on the sun, the binoculars project its image onto a screen that can be viewed and captured with a camera. To capture time-lapse footage, I utilize a digital camera set to manual settings and a GoPro 5.
