Solar Motion Light Mount

Solar Motion Light Mount

thingiverse

I needed a mount bracket for multiple solar motion lights that I could easily remove or relocate when traveling in my RV. Using magnets seemed like an excellent idea, allowing me to place them in direct sunlight during the day for charging and on the vehicle at night for added security. The design was created using Fusion 360 and then scaled to size with Slic3r. During a recent Amazon lightning sale, I scored some affordable motion sensor lights that are incredibly bright: Habor Solar Power Lights Bright 20 LED Motion Sensor Light Waterproof Exterior Security Lighting. To secure the magnets properly, I'll be epoxying them into recessed areas for a snug fit. The lights themselves are press-fit and remain securely in place without needing machine screws.
