I crafted a simple add-on to the wireless soil moisture sensor, allowing you to attach a solar panel to generate power throughout the year. To do this, simply place the solar panel between the two printed parts and secure them together with glue. Next, connect a 5V USB converter to the solar panel and plug it into the moisture sensor using a micro-USB cable. The module then easily slots onto the top of the sensor.
