Low-cost alternative to Tele Vue Sol-Searcher for Lunt Solar telescopes. DISCLAIMER: Tested with a Lunt LS50THa model only, but expected to work on other models except the 152mm. If printed and used with a different scope, please share results! Requires two M5 x 8mm screws to install. Thumbscrews used for easy removal and installation without tools. A standard hole punch chad fits into the recessed circle on the rear side. Apply glue stick to one side of the chad and press firmly into place for easier sun projection visibility. Printing inaccuracies may cause a non-circular projection hole. Drill out with a bit slightly larger than the hole to fix this issue. PETG or ABS printing is recommended due to warpage issues in PLA at 80F temperatures. Alternatively, white print to avoid heat absorption, but visibility of Sun's projection may be affected.
