Solar Finder - 07
thingiverse
I wanted a Solar Finder that I could view from above rather than from behind, looking towards the sun as our scopes are larger and the Solar Finder would be mounted lower down which would mean you would have to bend down in order to view it from behind - not comfortable. So I made one that is small, fits a standard finderscope mounting bracket and is a single piece that can be printed with no supports. I choose blue because it showed up the dot cast by the sun well. I have included STL and 3MF files. ### Print settings - I sliced using CURA and printed on an Artillery Sidewinder X1. - 3 walls - 0.2mm layer height. - 10% infill (Doesn't really matter much as it's mostly solid wall). - I used PLA (Blue EconoFill by Filaments.ca) - I used a brim though this is probably not necessary. Please give me a like if you decide to use one of my things. It encourages me to share more. Better yet, post a photo of your make. My other things are here: https://www.thingiverse.com/frostyfriday
