Solar-filter-mount for Orion 20x80 Astronomy Binoculars

Hi guys,this is a simple solar-filter-mount to adapt an solar film foil to the Orion 20x80 Astronomy Binoculars.The outer diameter of the connection surface of the Orion 20x80 astronomy binoculars is almost 102 mm.The parts can be printed out of any material you have. I took PLA for the parts on the pictures.Directions to assemble:• Use the inner part as a cutting template for the filter foil.• Insert the cut-out filter to the outer part and stick with an double-sided tape.• Stick in the inner part with an double-sided tape.• Done. Have fun...Then you can put the solar-filter-mounts to your binoculars and enjoy the new solar filter.I have used the Baader AstroSolar Solar Film foil for the Pictures.Notice: this solar filter mount fits for the Orion 20x80 astronomy binoculars and it should also fit other astronomy binoculars of the same size. However, I cannot guarantee this!WARNING:Be sure that the solar-filter-mount fits securely on your binoculars! If you look at the sun with the binoculars without the filter, it will seriously damage your eyes!
