thingiverse
Print a full-sized flat pattern and overlay it on a sturdy manila folder, then carefully cut out the design using a sharp knife. Next, take a sheet of solar filter material and attach it to the frame with the shiny side facing outward. Fold in the edges of the filter and secure them together with strips of tape. Once assembled, place the makeshift viewer onto your telescope for safe viewing of the solar eclipse, but remember to keep your dedicated eclipse glasses securely fastened around your head at all times. The finished product measures 4.537 inches across as a hexagon and 1.816 inches in height.
