Solar filter holder for small camera

A friend had a last-minute request to use his camera during the eclipse, so he needed a special adapter. The holder fits perfectly onto the 40mm lens tube of his camera and securely holds a 50mm disc of solar filter material in place. A friction retainer allows for easy replacement of the filter for future eclipses, which will occur again in about seven years. Two small pegs protruding from the front of the holder served as an added precaution in case measurements were slightly off. However, they ended up being unnecessary. To build this adapter, I used a raft for both pieces and supports on the holder itself. The printing settings included a layer height of 0.1mm, walls with a thickness of 0.8mm, a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm, a nozzle temperature of 215 degrees Celsius, and a fill percentage of 50%.
