Solar Filter for Telescope

This is purely a guesswork attempt, and I wouldn't risk uploading untested content unless I had found a perfect filter and the next eclipse wasn't for three days. My Telescope is expected to arrive within these days, allowing me to measure the actual tube diameter and parameterize it. Only then can I print this out for the very first time. So, you'll likely encounter problems with the two rings snapping together. Please refrain from using your costly solar filter foil until you've verified and assessed this yourself! Update: Success! The design worked flawlessly right away. It does take some force to click the two rings together, as well as a thin pair of tweezers to separate them cleanly. Perhaps it's wise to test whether they slide with a minuscule amount of play when inserting the inner ring incorrectly; cut out the solar foil in that case, and then attempt to join them together. Test the filter for safety by gently blowing air against it. Note: The Filter is specifically designed for a TS-Optics Starscope 609. Have fun! Beware: Stupid actions might render you visionless. A smart approach would be to hold your hand in front of the ocular and inspect for a brilliant lightbeam before attempting to look through it. To operate: Insert the inner ring onto a piece of paper, creating a circular boundary. Next, assemble a "sandwich" consisting of: "Small sheet with circle drawn, filter foil placed within it, and larger sheet to hold it together." Secure everything firmly in place using Scotch tape. Once assembled, use scissors to cut out the complete sandwich unit. Take the solar filter and fit it snugly inside the outer ring. Light air until the filter lays flat seamlessly within. Carefully press down on the inner ring, locking it securely onto the foil in place.
