Create a solar filter for your binoculars, whether they're 15x70 or 20x80, or even 10x50. You'll need to use BAADER AstroSolar Safety Film with an optical density of 5.0. To make the thread that holds it in place, simply tap a screw hole into position using a tap. You can find the free CAD design for this project on GitHub, courtesy of Roman Hujer's Accessories for the Telescope repository. The file is called SolarFiler.FCStd and can be found at https://github.com/romanhujer/Accessories-for-the-telescope/blob/master/SolarFiler.FCStd.
