This filter is specifically designed for photographing the sun, particularly for the solar eclipse that will be visible in the UK on March 20th, 2015. The design enables it to push-fit securely onto a Hoya UV(67) mm filter and, with minor adjustments, can be made compatible with any other 67mm filter size. To achieve optimal results, the source material used in its construction is obtained from the specified Amazon UK product: B00DS7IFQS. Due to current equipment constraints, a 135mm lens will likely be employed, despite some uncertainty about whether it has sufficient magnification. As we draw closer to the eclipse date on Friday, fingers crossed that favorable weather conditions will prevail and photography will be successful without interruption by cloudy skies.
