There's a surge in the demand for renewable energy in our country. India aims to hit a 100GW mark by 2022, but currently, only 22MW is being generated from solar energy. The efficiency of solar panels varies between 0.15 and 0.20, making it challenging to meet this target. Harsh climatic conditions and rising pollution levels cause dust to accumulate on the panels, reducing their energy production even further. To overcome this hurdle, it's essential to regularly clean the solar panels. Our final-year project focused on designing and developing an efficient cleaning system that can be controlled remotely using a mobile device or any paired device. The system also features a water connection for wet cleaning, with solenoid valves controlling the water distribution. By minimizing power consumption and automating the process, we can significantly boost energy output.
