Solar Cell Holders
thingiverse
Alright, Bought a Whole Bunch of Super Cheap Solar Cells from eBay. They Work Flawlessly, BUT, Unfortunately, They Are Very Fragile. So, I Pulled Out My 3-D Printer and Created a Holder for These. I Strongly Recommend Applying a Tiny Dot of Hot Glue to Allow the Solar Cell Some Room to Bounce Around. Using Extremely Flexible Braided Wire that Can Handle About 4.5 Amps is Crucial as the Solar Cells Typically Put Out a Steady 5 Amps at 0.5 Volts, but Only in Ideal Conditions. I Initially Planned to Print the Connection Points on the Ends and Sides of the Holder using Little Dovetail Shapes or Something Similar, Feel Free to Get Creative with It. If You Guys and Gals Need Any Help or Have Some Cool Projects Going On, Just Let Me Know. Take Care!
