Solar Binocular Filter

Solar Binocular Filter

I repurposed my old cardboard Solar Eclipse glasses by cutting out the lenses to create a makeshift adapter for my binoculars. To fit them snugly on my binos, I resized the cut-out pieces to match their 61mm diameter. Next, use a pencil or pen to carefully draw along the inside of the larger ring onto the cardboard frames you're about to sacrifice. Then, cut carefully along your line - I used some tape to hold the lenses in place before snapping them into the inner ring, but it's likely not necessary. Best of luck and have fun during the 2017 Great American Eclipse!
